Quick Q -
should it be "woot" or "w00t"?

also, for the logo, it seems that "Evolution" seems to be a secondary thing. If I were making the banner, I would set it a little off (but to the right) from "Gotw00t"/"Gotwoot", and smaller, but close enough for it to look related.

I like your origional a bit better, simply because the contrast isn't as great. I think that these might draw someone's eye too much, which you want at first, but not afterwards.

Just a thought though, still really nice.
