You mean jazz-ish as in crappy "smooth" junk, or real, traditional jazz?

Just jazz in general? Do you have an instrument preference (vocals, piano, sax, etc.)? Do you prefer big band or smaller jazz combos?

i love sax... piano is good too... i dont have any specifics.. anything that sounds good and chill..

Pick up a copy of the soundtrack to "Bird".

Some really good tracks on there - they extracted Parker's sax from the original recordings and had some well known names play alongside Parker - I think Jon Faddis played trumpet on Ornithology, and maybe even KoKo.

If you like bluesy sax, check out "Parker's Mood", it's sort of a ballad.
