When paying $4.89 for regular I would say that's close enough to $5

You may not but that is my opinion.

Looks like it will go past $5 shortly so suck it.
So you admit to trolling. How many times have you been banned for that and when will it be the last, inquiring minds want to know.

it's a lot more then just the price of gas. All goods and services are priced according to transportation and energy costs. Just wait till the ecoKOOKS get cap/trade going. economic slaughter on the horizon.

What's with the price of crude? Up to $97/barrel now?

So, a European recession is coming along with a global slowdown, or has already arrived depending on who you ask, and massive austerity going to keep the market down for years. Also, Middle-East "crisis" is done and over with with Libya back online, and oil is almost back to when people were worrying Saudi Arabia would be hit this past spring?

Oil up to $99 today

Gas went up another 20 cents last night

Now back to $4 in the burbs, just under $5 in Chicago
Reported again for trolling. Most expensive gas in Chicago is $3.99 according to chicagogasprices.com and gas is up TEN CENTS in the last WEEK.

Strangely enough, gas has not risen in a few weeks here and actually fell $0.04 to $3.32 today. I'm shocked that oil has risen so much but gas has been steady to small decline. I expect a big hike over the next few weeks before Thanksgiving though.

This area always seem to be the first to jack prices up and they never come down to the same levels everywhere else.

No media coverage of this latest price spike yet at all.

Well you can have the south, between nutball Texas Perry, bankrupt Alabama, save the cells Mississipi and on and on

Yup, the same South with better economy, low cost of living, friendly folks, and pretty women. I will take that anytime.

Better economy? The only southern state with a better economy is Texas and only because their main industry is the oil/gas industry which rapes the rest of the country.

Friendly? Yeah right

I was going to post this in the OT thread, but they locked it. The reason why gas prices havent gone back up as oil has neared $100 again is because right now we are not using reformulated gas like we do in the summer to "protect the environment" (and profits of corn growers) which adds even more to the price of gas during the summer.

Maybe for the rest of the country but not here in the Chicago area.

Is there a snow formula for here that costs more???

Miss Teen USA 2007 - South Carolina answers a question

Aren't you in IL? The same state that is so broke that it could not pay its bills and its vendors?
http://www.dailyherald.com/article/20111016/news/710169907/

The same state with not one but at least two governors that were or are indicted/in prison recently? And the same state with the former US Senator that said the US has more than 50 states? Yup, that is the one.

La state has lower unemployment rate than the rest of the US, same for Oklahoma, Arkansas is right at the average. Source = http://www.bls.gov/web/laus/laumstrk.htm You were saying about "only Texas"?

You need to keep on trolling/lying about the high gas prices and stop making fun of the southern states. We are not perfect but at least we are not so broke and sky high unemployment.

I am an equal opportunity state basher.

No state is perfect although Texas claims to be.

If you don't believe the gas prices you can come see for yourself.

I've already reported some of his posts in this thread for the pure trolling they are, but moderators have no interest in constraining his terrible behavior, unfortunately. I don't report opinion where I *think* he's trolling. Most of his posts in this thread are easily proven as lies/trolling, so it's totally objective.
