Got gas for $2.00

gas is down to 1.97 here @ kroger using a kroger card, i'm just happy it no longer takes $50 to fill up.

Gas and heating oil prices will remain low(and lower), through the winter, if not until next summer. Most analysts see gas droping below $1.50 for the national avg. The oil sector is in a severe bear market due to selloff.

The only way gas will go up is if OPEC drastically cuts production, and even then any change they make wont be felt at the pump for ~3-6 months.

Most of the gas stations in my area are in the $2.03 to $2.09 range (with the 9/10 of a penny). If I want to get it for under $2.00 right now, I can go out of my way to the Kroger on Old Norcross Rd and use their 10 cents off a gallon deal. That makes it around $1.95.

Paid 1.999 this morning with their $0.10 off / gallon.

Starting next week I get $0.20 off / gallon. Bought alot of groceries last month... lol

Huh?? We get 10 cents off for every 100 dollars spent, but they don't accrue, ie. 20 cents for $200, 30 cents for $300.

Was nice to fill the minivan up for $1.94 on saturday. I'm going to buy a 2000 gallon tank and bury it in my yard. Then that should hold me over till next spike. Anyone know where to buy such a tank?

Gas hit a low of $1.889 here last week but rose to over $2.00 again in a couple of days.
Back down to $1.989 yesterday. Made a stop for a fill up and it was only $43.00! (Of course I had under 1/2 tank, 36 gal. tank on my beast!)
