Get ready, these next few days may be hell, drink tons of water and eat jello. Keep tons of medicine nearby and know the reccomended times inbetween dosages in a day's time.

I got mine tightened today and got some rubber bands I have to use, they hurt like a mother and are a PITA
 
I kept on moving from one place to another so I ended up having braces for +3 years rather than 1 1/2 years as planned. That sucked major arse.

But it is worth it.
 
gah fvck I shouldn't have gotten the clear ones on top. I spent a few hundred out of my pocket to get these clear ceramic brackets on top (they couldn't use them on the bottom). but they're about twice as thick as the metal ones GAH!!!! the metal ones look more normal too, which eliminates the only reason I got the stupid cermic ones. these suck
 
i wore a pallet expander that i had to manually twist with a key to expand my own pallet for a while. then i got braces for two years and got them out just before my senior pictures. i hated them and never wore my retainer. my teeth are fine now.

You're telling me. But now I have the straightest teeth this side of the Mason-Dixon line...and some discoloration as well. 🙁
 
I had to go without pain meds for the first 18 hours cause I discovered I'm allegeric to perkaset 🙁
 
The braces I could bear, but the blue tiny spacers was very painful. Normally teeths have no gap between them. What they did was jam 4 spacers between the two top and bottom molars of my teeth, forcing open a 2mm opening. Now that hurt like a mofo 🙁

It's been about 2yrs since I've got my braces removed. Other than the front teeth that has a slight memory effect, the rest stay unmoved. Still have the metal lining behind the teeths at the bottom front to hold them steady.

I had an overbite, but I don't remember how bad it was. The problem I had was that my permanent teeth took a long time to come in. For a few years I only had 'em on the front, then a few on back, etc. until I finally had them all in. But I suppose it was worth it, since I'm one helluva sexy beast now. 😉

I don't mind my braces, because I'm will to sacrifice some discomfort for the end result 🙂

ahahaha I remember when I had braces the first few days hurt my teeth after that you don't really notice them. The weirdest thing is when you get them off your teeth feel all slimy for the first day or two. Oh and lets see some pics of your geekiness.

isn't invisiline for retainers, which i still wear. had to get them twice, once in 3rd, once in 9th... at least girls love me for my perfect teeth now. not.
