Got barebones system from Tigerdirect....

I got the Soyo barebones system TD just a few weeks ago, $19.99 plus shipping after rebates. Looked like a nice case, and I use a P4 Dragon MB in my main pc, so I thought it would be a decent deal...Wrong. Case was nice, so was the Keyboard and Mouse. Even got a 52x cd-rom drive in the deal. But I can't seem to get it to see my CPU as an AMD XP 2000. I used the proper jumpers according to the manual. I can use the 133 fsb and it will boot ok, but not the 233 fsb. And when I try to install the OS (windows XP home, it will start to do it then hangs up. I am at a lose as to what is causing this, so I ordered a new HD just in case the old one is bad. Any one got any ideas?

233 fsb? there is none for the athlon. that is trying to run it at 233*2=466 effective fsb. it will also be overclocking your cpu by an equivilant amount, and it is surprising that it will even POST at stock voltage. 133 is the correct fsb.

yea 133 is the right fsb. if you talkin about running at the 266fsb then its just (133 double pumped = 266). So 133 is the actual fsb but 266 is the effective fsb.
