now if someone will tell me where 99% return slots are, i'll add that to my list as well.

They dont exist anymore.
Yes they do, but mostly in our "local" casinos (off the strip). Why anybody plays slots is beyond me, but to each their own, single deck blackjack is the ticket.

Single deck blackjack??? Where?

they have it @ ny ny, but they shuffle after every hand, so you cant really count

try the Kobe Beef and Chilean Seabass. two usually very expensive items that they have on the weekend buffets at the Bellagio that nobody tends to go for (at least the kobe), because people don't realize japanese beef can be quite good... and chilean seabass is just good no matter how you prepare it.

Yeah its probably not "Kobe Beef", "Kobe Beef" is a brand name, basically. Its probably beef from wagyu cattle raised in Australia or the US using the same techniques as they do in Kobe, Japan. If its not from Kobe, Japan, its not Kobe Beef. Although some places get around that by shipping their beef off to Kobe Japan, and "processing it there". IE slaughtering their cattle in Kobe, Japan, rasing them elsewhere. Actual Kobe Beef from Kobe, Japan goes for $300 per pound. Although prices vary depending on which cut. Though it doesnt really matter, the wagyu cattle raised in the US produces the same beef, at 1/3 the cost.

mmmm buffet style eating.
is it lunch yet? im starving.
i thought the grand buffet at mgm was okay. it was sort of pricey too.
not as much as bellagio and rio IIRC.
i cant wait to go back to vegas.

ALL single deck in the strip pays 6:5 instead of 3:2 for blackjack. That increases the house edge by 2%.

I heard the Horseshoe in downtown is best for single deck blackjack, but can;t verify

The loose slots are at the local casinos off the strip. They have the loose slots to attract the locals from going into town.

There's one local casino that has the most slots in all of Vegas. It's off the strip. I forget the name, but it legendary for loose slots.

I had Ceasar's "Emporer's Feast" for right around $30-$35. Than included 1 lobster as well as all the champagne you could drink. Plus it had prime rib, crab legs, shrimp, scallops, plus all the normal stuff like chicken, salad, etc. I thought it was a pretty good deal for all that food.

Vegas is boring. The shows are nice, but its the gaudiest place ever. However, I had fun in the Circus Circus amusement park 😛

Are you sure it was real Kobe Beef there? its top-notch beef, best in the world... at a buffet, that doesn't seem right...

Check out the Aladdin buffet next time. I went there for the firts time on my last trip to LV and I liked it.

Alladin's going out of business. Planet Hollywood's taking it over

GODDAMMIT WHY DOES EVERYONE ELSE WHO GOES TO VEGAS ALWAYS WIN??????????

My girlfriend won $8,000 this past weekend.

Ugh.

I'm going again this weekend with my girl Kat. I'll check out the Rio buffet instead, thanks for the tips.

*sigh*

Hey, if you see a sign that says "gormet" and eat there anyway you deserve to be disappointed. What's the exact wording, "Gormet Buffet, the bestest eatin' vittles in this durn-tootin' town?".

Next time, try a gourmet buffet, they're a lot better than those gormet ones.

what he said

the single deck at horseshoe (binion's) killed me. i went in and put $60 on the table, was all the way down to $10. had to play aggressive to get back up to $60 and ended up $10 up before i ducked out. and even then i had to struggle to get that $10 extra bucks to take a cab back to the strip.

edit: but i have heard the Horseshoe does pay. in fact, the people who were there before me at the table i sat at, the dealer said she payed them well, and they didnt tip or anything. in fact, the whole reason we went to the horseshoe is because we heard it payed out. guess it just didnt want to pay us. and yes, i like 1 deck blackjack, but those tables are few and crowded to play. sometimes one has to compromise.
