Got back from the grand opening of the Borgata in Atlantic City..

Got back around 6am this morning.. I must say that if AC gets more hotels like this then we can expect a turn around of this city. The new 1.1 Billion (yes, billion) dollar casino is the most luxurious thing AC has to offer. It reminds me of a Vegas casino, only a tad smaller. The huge purple building going up into the clouds last night was a site to see. The place was packed and everyone was having a great time.. too bad they pushed the official opening time from 3 am to 12 am. Oh well.. still fun. And no old people!

I reccomend you all going there and checking it out.

Anyway, rooms were about $150 or something a night but the place has been booked up for a while

The only thing that would truely turn AC around is if the part of the city that ISN'T casinos was bulldozed to the ground and redeveloped. Get rid of the crack houses and dirtbags down there and start over.
