Good news, the A70 appears to be slightly smaller than the A40.

Indeed RossMAN is correct on the size thing. I was surprised when my A70 arrived and it was smaller than my A40.

Was it a decent upgrade ? Im tired of my a40 taking so long to take the pic after I hit the button, it takes up to 10 seconds somtimes with the flash, its rediculous.

Wow 10 seconds? I would definitely investigate that alleged issue but otherwise yes it is a noticeable upgrade from the A40 to the A70.

Noticeable indeed. What brand of compact flash are you using because the write speeds do vary.

Yea rossman it sucked, I could never take pics of anything I wanted to (like cars for example) because it was gone by the time the camera took the pic.

amdskip - I was using 1 128 meg card from sandisk and another 128 meg card of no-name brand from frys. Also another 64 meg card from a different no-name company. All cards gave me the same results :frown:
