I saw on slickdeals that tap tap is free? Thought it was always free with downloadable songs... maybe you get some extra songs.

A fun little game as some game where you draw lines to get past the levels. It was free but i can't think of the name.

tap tap 1 and 2 are free. tap tap 3 cost 2.99 IIRC but maybe it's free for now. Yes, extra songs cost money, although there are quite a few free ones.
 
Anyone using a GPS app for their Touch?

It looks like Tom Tom, Magellan, and some other companies make them. Some seem to require a car kit (dock with gps radio it in) and others don't mention it. Also, it seems to depend what generation of the Touch you have (this article about the Magellan app mentions only 2nd gen, so us with 3rd gens are out of luck?).

Has anyone tried these apps and can recommend one?

I just got the 32GB iTouch for chrismas and love:
-Moron Test
Most entertainment for .99 cents, its very similar to the impossible quiz.
-Doodle Buddy.
Find another friend with an iTouch and link up, draw a picture together. Its cute.
(or just draw one by yourself)
-Peggle
Excellent entertainment for 1.99$
-Lightsaber App, start the music, and the lightsaber and have fun pretending to be a jedi.
-Tetris, Waste some time with a classic.

Moron Test is great, I'm sure it eventually end, but I have yet to beat it. I got pretty far, I think? If I beat it I'm definitely going to write a walkthru lol.
