Got an average of 13 mpg on the last tank of gas

Jesus that's terrible. I'm a leadfoot and I still get 16-17 mpg in my F-150 (5.4 liter v8)

usually get at least 16+ in my gs400 and I always drive fast.

i get 13 or so in my first gen 150HP explorer around town.

<-would get better gas mileage with a bigger engine.

Cost me 500 bucks! Its not the safest car in the world, but its really nice for the price.

I play a little game with myself trying to see if i can beat my previous gas mileage record every time I fill up. It seems to be pretty unpredictable and sometimes even when I think I've driven conservatively, the mileage isn't any better. Generaly get 27-29 mpg in my Protege5 with 2.0L engine, though, which ain't great...
