Wow...you sure didn't need a push to slide down that slippery slope logic, did you?

Ain't no slope to it. You ever been in a public school?

Yes, I have. And my daughters have been in public schools since Kindergarten. I hear the white trash kids and the inner-city kids and their constant spewing of profanity. I don't think I've ever heard my daughter use a "four-letter word". Seriously.

She also doesn't drink, doesn't smoke, doesn't do drugs, and isn't sexually active.

Not too bad for a 17 year-old in a public school raised by an atheist father, eh?

You must have shown some restraint on using profanity around them when they were little. The white trash kids, you think the trash parents showed the same restraint. More than likely not. As the kids get older, they understand what is right or wrong based mostly upon what they were raised around.

Yes, because profanity is SUCH a moral outrage, and is CLEARLY the cause of all childhood developmental difficulties.

Yeah, just what you want an 8 year old picking off some dumbass' vehicle. What kind of parent would stick this kind of bumpersticker on their vehicle. I'll tell you, the same parent that doesn't give two sh1ts about their kid. Clearly you are one of them, please don't multiply as your kids would be fvcked in real life.

Is the women in question a parent? Was that stated in the article?

You still haven't explained just what the problem is with profanity.

Explain to me how having such a bumper sticker on one's car indicates a lack of concern for the wellbeing of one's children.

Was the woman a parent, I don't know. I made no assumptions that she was. The only assumption I made was that if she was a parent, she's a fvcked up one.

You have zero information re: this woman's attributes or qualities as a parent.

How are you making such an assumption?

Porn isn't developmentally appropriate for minors.

I don't have a problem with so-called profanity, tho. Do you have any studies indicating that that exposure to so-called profanity puts a child's well-being in danger in some way?

I don't see any link between use of profanity, and lack of concern for the well-being of one's child.

If I was a parent, I would want to help my kids to realize that use of profanity is considered inappropriate in certain contexts (like in the classroom at school, etc.) OTOH I wouldn't want them conned into believing that use of profanity is somehow an immoral thing to do, or that there is never an appropriate time or place to use profanity.

As I said before, I don't use profanity consistently around them. I, like any normal person, will utter something when I, say, stub my stoe, drop something, break something, etc. I have always taught them respect and tolerance for people that respect others. I have taught them what bigotry is and they recognize it when they see it.

Putting a bumper sticker like F-ck Bush on my car will not offend them or affect them in any way. If someone else gets offended? GREAT!

Blame your own damn self.

Sorry, but if you as a parent do you job, then nothing...not teasing or taunting, not violent video games, not explicit lyrics, not movie/TV violence...NOTHING will screw up your kids.

Humans have the ability to absorb a great deal of experiences and not be affected at their core. If you think a bumper sticker is going to ruin America, I suggest you open up your eyes.

Another great parent here. And I know you have kids, hopefully you're exwife has some common sense to rub off on these kids and that she has custody.

Must you be quite so obnoxious?

I think your comments here cross the line.

I'd consider them a brainwashed moron. Esp. considering our country was founded by liberals and the de facto religion of this nation is based upon a liberal.

So George Washington was a liberal? Thomas Jefferson was a liberal? Andrew Jackson was a liberal?

You got a huge double standard. Some when people say "fvk liberals" you get offended, but you are willing to put a sticker on your car saying "fvk Bush". It goes both ways

How do I have a double standard?

I didn't say I would be offended by the sticker you mentioned.

Too bad the bumper sticker in question compares not a wit to your examples. You right wingers aren't too bright. And no, I don't need to riddle my post with all sorts of stupid emoticons like Cadwhatever does.

I like the Buck Fush stickers. Clever, and essentially say the same thing. I'm sure that stupid cop would try to arrest someone for those too, but there are idiots in every profession apparently.

I'm not using an ad hominem. I simply said that his politics suck,

Like I said...Right wingers don't appear to be the sharpest tools in the shed. They are tools though. lol.

I don't the point of asking if someone is offended? I get insulted when I see those bumper stickers that say my kid beat up your honors student but I don't see how that makes them illegal. Ok, actually, I think they're funny, but I have seen offensive bumper stickers before and that doesn't make them illegal.

Who cares if it's legal. It's incredibly LAME. :p

How about "Sodomize Bush"?

I don't think it is lame, I think it's an efficient way of conveying one's general feelings of disdain and disgust re: Bush to the world.

Efficient? How about 14-year-oldish? :p

The only way it could be any better was if it said, "FVCK BUSH LOLOL!1!!!111!~~~ WTF"

Yes, efficient. By the way, I don't agree that cursing someone you dislike intensely is a thing only teenagers should do. It's for adults as well. :) This is a harmless way of releasing stress while expressing one's political outlook. I am all for this. "FVCK DUMBYA".

It certainly demonstrates the intellectual nature of the anti-Bush thinker. Seriously, how do liberals expect to tide votes over to their side with public displays like this? Who wants to be associated with that? :p

You should put that right next to the sticker that say people don't F--- with my car.
Conjur -

It is your right to put whatever you'd like to on your car. :) Having said that...

You do realize that it makes you look like white trash, and it actually hinders your cause.
White Trash is having a Calvin pissing sticker or a "W" sticker.

I would submit that "white trash" is not limited to Calvin pissing on "W" stickers.

Why makes Calvin urinating on a letter crude, and "Fvck Bush" not crude?

You can be a much better advocate by not marginalizing your own position with a public display of profanity.

It was fully, 100% the error of the police/courts...and it WASNT innocent, a judge stepped down when I finally won my case to get them removed.

Who do you think the fvcked up kids come from. People that have no regard for wellbeing of kids. You can't deny that if you had kids, you wouldn't want them in presence of such language. Then again if you had kids, you'd be telling them that the US soldiers deserve to die. Kids learn alot from their surrondings, you keep the kid around crack dealers, they'll more than likely become crack dealers. If you house is full of hate, your kids will acquire that as well. Why don't you not procreate and save society the trouble of raising your kids, as you surely aren't capable.

Why don't you actually raise your own kids and let us raise ours.
