Got a wirless N network going but having issues

Hi all,

We recently got ourselfs a Lynksys N router and 2 WMP300N Linksys N PCI cards. We got the network up and running without a problem but my connection/latency is almost twice as fast as my wife's one even tho windows is telling us we have the same connection and signal strength.

The only think I could notice that was different is on my network connections in control panel I have Wireless Network Connection & 1394 connection while she had just Local Area Connection.

I don't understand why her's says local area connection instead of wireless network connection but I assume the trouble we're having is because of that.

By the way, we have windows running our wireless network.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

1394 means that you have Firewire socket too, you can disable it or leave it On it does not matter.

Otherwise, you can use this process to check both computers.
