Very cool. These home security systems are fairly common, but I've never used a wireless one before. (Had to use wireless because none of my doors are anywhere near a phone line.)
I've got 3 door sensors and a motion sensor, all communicating via wireless to a central panel in the kitchen, which is in turn hooked up to my phone lines for the monitoring system.
The cool part is the fact that it's all controlled by my remote on my keychain (works through floors), which is the size of a car door lock remote. There's on, off, and a mode for when I'm in the house - turns off the motion sensor but keeps all the door sensors on.
Anyone know what frequencies these systems use? It's a Ademco Lynxr system from ADT. There are no specs in the instructions.
