Got a wierd email from Anandtech about me requesting a password.

I have not requested AT to send me my password. Is this a trick to highjack my account by somebody?

Sounds like someone was trying to sign up with the name, or they thought they already had and requested the password which then obviously was sent to the registered email.

Seriously, I'd be really suspicious of that email. I've heard of any email like that, but with the recent forum upgrades and maintenance, who knows?

I hope that the mods will change that stupid policy.

My password shouldn't be reset just because some jackass thought he had an account with some xyz username.
