or the fact that you pulled out in front of him and almost caused an accident. quit trying to rationalize it. you were in the wrong. grow up and deal with it.

If they offer traffic school in your state, and you qualify, take it. It will cost the same, plus the cost of the traffic school, but when you complete it, they remove the ticket from your record, so it won't bump up your insurance rate. In some states, you can do the whole thing on line. :)

sounds like BS. if you didn't run into him then hes giving you a ticket for a non-incident. thats almost like a cop giving a ticket for following at 1.5 seconds rather than 2 seconds.
Many jurisdictions have V&T laws about failure to yield, reckless driving, weaving, failure to signal, driving too fast for conditions, etc.
Just because there wasn't an accident doesn't mean that someone was driving properly.
i'm well aware of many laws about it. the fact that they are rarely enforced makes each particular time they are enforced seem like BS. why bother having a law if its only enforced rarely? to determine liablity when an accident does occur is the only reason i could think of.

Oh, I see your point..but you prolly jumped out a bit quick. Never drive where your eyes can't see. Still, if he was off to a side,
with all the lights that a truck has...it's forgivable. maybe you'll win. You didn't hit him after all.
