Got a Roman Mosaic made!

Have a Roman themed room because I'm obsessed with Ancient Rome. Can't wait for the series to come out on DVD. Anyways, I found an artist who makes mosaics and had her make me a map of the Roman Empire at its height.

Not cheap. But then again its also about 20x24.

probably concrete

The artist has a special backboard that she uses. I think its made of stone. She glues on the tile then grouts the tiles to give them added strength.

Nice, I wanted one of the students in my college to make something like a mosiac for me. I'm more of a Greek person myself, but I do love the Roman culture too.

and i beat the game with the britons

and the seleucids (egypt isn't all that hard to beat when they don't have any armies... bribery is far too powerful in that game)

They had maps, but no where near as detailed as today.

Pfft, you're still playing the Vanilla version.

Rome: Total War with the Rome: Total Realism mod is 10x better. I wouldn't even consider playing vanilla now.
