Got a Roccat Kone Pure, have some queries...

Just got a Roccat Kone Pure today, I am loving this mouse so far. But the software too many settings to confuse me. I am coming from a M60, and G9 before that, so I am quite used with laser. But what I wonder is there's no settings to turn off any kind of acceleration, there's one, Windows Pointer Speed under Advanced control, but turning it off makes the precision less, as I believe it is the Enhance pointer precision of Control Panel. Also I have set all the sensitivity options to 0, both X-Y axis and main sensitivity option. I have turned on TCU, I have a half torn Sphex! Polling rate obviously set at 1000 Hz.
What settings to use to have most precise movement retaining the cursor smoothness? I use 1600 dpi.

You are right to get rid of acceleration from Windows you need to turn off enhanced pointer precision. You should leave the mouse speed on its default setting of 6 notches.

As to the mouse settings themselves I have no idea, the Kone has built in acceleration into the sensor setup so I have avoided it.

Hmm, won't turning off enhanced pointer precision decrease the precision level of the mouse?
