Got a ride in the JAG today!

And right now I smell like new leather!

My father in law, Skoorb's father, has a new jag and we took it for a spin. Lovely car! When water hits the windshield, the wipers come on according to how much it is raining! Too bad I did not get to drive it...*sigh*

Anyhow here own a jag? What price do they start at? This one is an x-type. It is actually quite small!

I LOVE Jags, but I really wasn't all that impressed by the X-Type. (It's not a BAD car persay, just blah)

The 2.5L X-Type starts at $30,595 MSRP, and the 3.0L starts at $36,595.

There's nothing like new Connolly leather in a Jag though!

Not a JAG fan.. since Ford bought them out they are better though.. the days of the tractor engines and bad reliabilty are gone

Since moving I've been unable to drive in this but I was there for a test drive in the 3.0 (my dad bought the 2.5 because we both agreed that for an extra whack of money it was power he'd really never use) and it was a sweet car! I talked it up so much he had no option but to buy it! The handling on these things is freakishly good and they just feel very sweet. Much nicer than his pathfinder that he was leasing anyway - for the same price! Plus this has AWD.

Leather seats are nice, except when you're sweaty and then they feel like massive suction cups.

My mom had an XK8 which she traded in after the lease for a Merc SL500. The Jag was a great eye candy garage car, I'll say that much. It drove like a dream tho..when it wasn't in the shop..

One thing about being in a Jag is that people thing you're in millionaire. I recently had a ride in an X-type with my uncle, who was thinking about buying one, and people were standing around gawking at the car. Oh yeah, that leather was sweet.

I got to sit in my calc teacher's Vette on Saturday. 2001 'Vette, in the darker red color (not the ticket me red), whatever it's called. Very nice car, too bad it's an auto.
