Got a random phone call...

Some area code 310 number (my phone is 702, and I mostly get local calls or calls from 775) that I didn't recognize, so I decided to answer:

Me: Hello
Guy on line: Hello. Who's this?
Me: Uh, you're calling me, who are you
Guy: Uh...is aaron there?
Me: No. You have the wrong number.
Guy: Well...I got this number from a text message.
Me: I haven't sent a text message in months.
Guy: Oh, okay, bye. <click>
Me: WTF?

I dunno, I thought the whole thing was kinda funny. 😛

just do what i do when i get a call from a number i dont recognize. answer the call with a british accent. it doesnt change anything, but at least i get some form of entertainment from it all.

oh, as am i. thats what makes it that much better, a fake crappy accent telling them they have the wrong number.
