Got a question for office gurus.

BD2003

Lifer
I do a lot of trading on this board, and sending out a million emails with tracking numbers is starting to get to me.

Ive got an excel file that I keep all of this info in, each line is for a specific deal, along with their email and tracking number.

How can I get outlook to send an automatic form letter to each person that will send the tracking number (wedged in a classy letter of course) to the email address?

That doesn't sound possible BD2003, but then again, I could be wrong 😕

Its very possible.

Using Word XP : Tools -> Letters & Mailings -> Mail Merge Wizard

In earlier versions of Word it was something like: Tools -> Mail Merge.

Word can read from excel files or access databases quite easily and its a handy tool.

That did the trick. Thanks! Any way to get it to monitor which ones have already been sent and which havent and only send to those who havent received their tracking number yet?
