So I got lifetime warranty from xfx so I am going to probably keep this computer for years to come + if it does not fail or anything so if my card stops working 8+ years down the line will they Honor there warranty.

Not sure what card they'll hand over, the equivalent model being a bit too good to be true, but after 8 years you've already gotten your money's worth and it wouldn't need a top of the line card to do the same job.

Lifetime refers to your lifetime and the life of the card as far as I know. So in say 8 years, the cards life will be 100% extinguished as far as being a product, and unless they still have some verson of your card in their wearhouse, they wont honor the RMA. You cant exactly have something RMAd that hasnt been manufactured in 6 years since there isnt exactly a new one left to replace it with.
No it doesnt explicitely state that, but that is the general practice in the industry, also this is just for a replacement, you cant expect replacement on a card no one has. Their warranty still covers repairs though, so if there is any way to repair the card they will do that 50 years from now if possible. You can feel pretty confident they will replace a card for at least 4 years though. Also keep in mind, 8 years from now, you may end up paying more money for the shipping to get it repaired/replaced than to simply buy a new card.
Honestly though, who wants an 8 year old video card? Thats a Voodoo 2 from 3DFX, my laptop has a better integrated video chipset than a Voodoo 2.
He may not want an 8-year-old card. But, he can still sell it on ebay and with the Lifetime warranty from XFX, which is transferable to the second owner, he can sell it for a better price than he could with a different card.
It is the choice of XFX whether to repair it or to replace it. It has been reported before that a very old card has been replaced by the manufacturer (BFG) with a more advanced card since the original card was not in production anymore.
You never know what is going to happen in 8 years. But, what is written in the warranty is that they will repair or replace for lifetime. Now, if XFX goes out of business by then, that's a different story!

PNY had a lifetime warranty that was good as long as the card was in production. XFX's warranty is not like that.
