Got a pre-screening interview at Old Navy...have some questions?

Old Navy has started opening up stores here in Toronto for the first time and I applied for a job at one of hte stores (which hasn't opened yet). They called me for a pre-screening interview (what is that exactly?).

Now I have never been to an interview for a retail store nor have I ever worked in one. What kinds of questions should I expect and how should I answer them. Also what kind of a store is Old Navy??

Has anyone from here ever worked there before?

They want to make sure your not a freek!

Questions about experience, customer relations, hypothetical situations (if you caught your dad stealing from the store would you turn him in? (the answer is yes))

Clothes n' stuff

Unless its the old navy where you can buy 10000t cargo freighters for cheap

Just wear some old navy clothes for the interview and smile alot. Youll do fine.

I think I've been to their store in the States before..the store was..well...different. It wasn't classy or anything..but it had weird music playing..the whole athmosphere was different.

I don't have any Old Navy clothes. I'm gonna go to the interview in Docker khakis and a dark green dress shirt.

I haven't got the job yet..and quite frankly I can ignore music..just tune it out.

I've heard that retail.........................sucks! This is from two friends that have worked in retail.

I dunno, you could have a different experience.
