Got a phone call to set up an interview :D

The lady on the phone told me to wear "interview attire." I searched for some other threads, and the general consensus seems to be that a suit and tie is the standard, but this is for a Community Adviser/Programmer for my on-campus apartment complex, and the pay is free rent (about $600/mo) and $25/week for food.

After the application and a 3-hour group interview a few days ago (which consisted of breaking off into teams and doing various tasks), I got a call today and they told me that I'd made it to the solo interview process. Competition is pretty crazy (130 applicants, about 20 positions open).

Since it's not what most of you would consider a "real job," (about 14 hrs/week), should I dress in something more semi-formal? I was thinking of an all-black look: long-sleeved nice dress shirt, black pants, black dress shoes.

Any hypothetical questions you think they might ask would be appreciated as well 😀

shirt, dress pants, shoes, tie and a suit, or if it's cold i guess a wool jacket would be fine. just tie.shirt/pant/shoe is enough i think.

oh about the "all black look"... you are not thinking about a black shirt right???

if u got a suit wear it....if u dont got one get a cheap one from jcpenny or kohls or something....dont matter the job..its always dress to impress

as for questions just the usual...what positives and negatives do you add to this positon?

don't listen to other people. it's the experience that really matters. you'll have one more useful thing on your resume. that is more important than $6.50 an hour or something.
