Much like the buying and selling of Engineering Sample hardware, buying and selling (and bragging about) NFR hardware is frowned upon here

I ~think~ it's a review card as it has a Not For Resale sticker on it. Frankly, I don't care, and I promise I'm not here only to brag...I debated even mentioning the price.Yes, we are all jealous, was this a craigslist deal. Or possibly was it in one of those wooden crates sent out as review samples ?
The card has to be worth 60-70% of cost at this point, why the crowd is so curious !
Isn't selling review samples grounds for losing your creds? So like if someone happened to snitch this person would be off the list for hardware samples?
Man, I remember mailing back motherboards to SiS being a royal PITA.I am somewhat surprised they don't recall them back after 90 days or something.

Pretty damn good deal. You might wanna keep stuff like this under wraps in the future though. You wouldn't wanna accidentally throw your source / friend under the bus.
I would more say might not want to do this and actually respect the agreement the reviewers make with nvidia, amd, intel, et al.
Things are not ok just because you don't get caught.
I'm keeping this under wraps as much as possible. I don't know the true source of the card and everything is speculation. Nor is there anything in this thread that could possibly point out who sold it to me.Pretty damn good deal. You might wanna keep stuff like this under wraps in the future though. The card simply says that it's not for resale. The person who sold it to me says he won it. End of discussion, lets move on.
