Got a new tattoo.....

It's my third one, and by far the biggest. It's two big koi fish in some water with some shading done (on my upper left arm). I plan on getting a half-sleeve from my left elbow to my left shoulder, slightly moving onto my chest. It should only take 3 more tattoos of this size to complete it. I'll probably get one done every week until it looks the way I want it to.

Awesome, I can't wait to see. I'm going to be getting one next summer, going to think about it until then.

Just got my eye brow pierced, I love it.

I dont understand why people get tattoos. What is the reasoning for etching something permanently on to your skin?
I'd like to know this as well. I understand that people like different things, it's just the thought of having something put on your body that is not easily removable, and is definitely not 100% reversable.

It's just something I enjoy. (Not the physical feeling), but the final product. I think some people are bothered my permanent decisions. But IMO, these arent the kinds of permanent decisions that stress me.

Sounds funky man.

Can't wait to see pics of it 😀

same here, never say the point of tatoos, maybe someone can fill me in on it

Not for me, but to each his own, and most tattoos (barring prison-style ones - and even some of those, really, though they're usually in B&W) look really good. Just not something I want. Awaiting pics.

Hmm, theres not really a definite point to getting them. It's just a hobby or interest some people have. I guess it would be similar to buying clothes. You like a shirt, it looks good on you, you get it. It's kinda like dressing your body permanently.

Plus, once you enter the world of body modification - such as with my eyebrow piercing - you get addicted to it. I never understood this until I actually got this done. It's definetly not for a lot of people, but Nascar isn't for a lot of people either. To each his own.

Heh I'm not. I'm going to get a second barbel put in next to my first one, as soon as the initial one is healed enough. Possibly a labret after that, but I don't know if I want that much sh!t on my face.
