got a new router, need help fixing two problems

I just setup a new netgear wgr614 router, but I am not using any wireless connections right now. The problem is that everytime I open up internet explorer it asks me to login to the router, which is really annoying, and I can't figure out which setting causes this. Also, I can't get my packet8 voip service to work either now, and I think it may be this login crap (or not, I not really sure). Does anyone know what setting I can change to turn off the need to login everytime I open IE. My previous router was a similar netgear one, and it never had this problem.
 
Well, I will go ahead and slap my forehead, for not reseting my DTA. So my voip is good to go. However I still don't know what to do to stop from having to login everytime. Any help is greatly appreciated.
 
Do you accidently have the router as your homepage on ie? I only get prompted by my wgr614 when I try to access the routers GUI.
