yeah that should work actually. Thats how i did it. But later i made a separate partition (1GB)
Maybe just use the default chameleon install to install snow then when you update to 6.2, use all the kexts that i uploaded. Should work either way but im not sure the 2 new kexts will mess up pre 6.2.
That boot file is a modified RC4 bootfile. That inserts a couple things for you. I think you will be pretty happy with that install, very stable and snow is awesome.
The zip file i uploaded is the sleep enabler for 10.6.2, as is the hda. You dont need anything else, that i can think of. Well besides Rip2 for autosleep.
The only things you might want/need to change is in the com.apple.boot.plist.
<key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>1680x1050x32</string> Maybe this, just changes the boot screen resolution. I kept it here, even though my native is 1920x1200, if your monitor doenst support this high you should lower it.

<key>Default Partition</key>
<string>hd(0,3)</string> And probably this (though it just highlights this partition and you can select any you want)
Good luck im very interested to see how it works for you, it should be perfect.
