Hey guys.
So, at my new job, they gave me a few PowerMacs to use. I can use them for anything, so I slated my dual-G5 for Folding@Home (in the process of maybe another dual-G4 1.4GHz or something.
So it's a dual-G5 2.5GHz w/ 4GB of DDR RAM.
And here's the question.
Can I somehow get two OSX PPC Clients to run simultaneously? SMP is only supported for Intel Macs.
It's a water-cooled G5 so I'm a little worried about the cooler. It's out of warranty so if it leaks, I'm SOL.
I can't wait until I get my other rig up running too. Then I'll be up to 3 SMP clients, a GPU client, and a OSX-PPC client.
