got a new card

I was just wondering what the best price is out there now for a ATI 9800pro 128mb... Would pricewatch be the most accurate way to find the cheapest card?

I would just stick to buying a card from NewEgg or Mwave or ZipZoomFly

It may seem like you are saving money when you look at the PriceWatch prices .. but you sometimes end up getting more than you bargained for .. like poor service .. bloated shipping cost etc.

Good Luck

newegg.com has them for $292.

If you'd been able to pick up the sapphire 9800np (redpcb) you'd be able to oc to above pro speeds and in my case above XT speeds (I'm running one @ 450/411 with stock cooling for $240).

rogo

I was wondering how the 9800pro compares against the 9600XT... personal opinions and past advice/experience are welcome. The reason I ask this is b/c i'm starting to think that I may not need such a new card as the 9800pro

The 9800 pro is quite a bit faster than a 9600xt. It depends what kind of settings you like to run your games at though.

i actually got it from a friend who works at bestbuy, and he used his employee discount =X it's great to have connections =D

another q... if i were to hook up my PS2 to my computer, what would i need?
