w00t...I learned how to drive a manual today...LOL!

You've gained knowledge of the basics, not learned 😛 It'll take a while before you can drive it smoothly without thinking. Tomorrow I'll be 17 (yea, yea...), and I started driving my manual 93 Talon 2 years ago. I think it was only about 6 months ago that I felt like I was really able to drive smoothly without putting all my concentration on the clutch.
lol, true. but i have moments where i dont think of it. when i think about it i mess up. when i just drive i dont. i hate how that works

now just to do uphill. anyone have any helpfull pointers on how to do uphill? i can semi do it, but not without "peeling out". lol

i had the same problem when i started. there is no easy solution to this. u just gotta put in the time with ur car on this one and get better at it. when i started, i used to use the handbrake then rev the rpm up to like 2.5 so that i dont roll back. i practiced and now i can stand still on a incline without using the brake (balance the car with clutch and gas)

Yes, I too judge cars based on amateur video shot by teenagers who think they are the best drivers in the world.

EVO Raw Data (as tested by Motor Trend)

0-60: 4.59s
1/4mi: 13.08s @ 105.12MPH
60-0: 106ft
100-0: 292ft
0-100: 12.45s
100-0: 4.11s
1mi: 35.1 @ 142.4MPH
600ft slalom: 71.4MPH
Top Speed: 156MPH

I'm an SRT-4 fan myself; excellent bang for the buck. Fast as hell stock too. But calling the Evo "not fast"...? An enthusiast car based on a Neon vs. a rally-based road car, not really a contest there.

Even if an SRT-4 could stay within a few seconds of an Evo on a dry track, I would hesitate driving it on a wet one.

Rally based road car? It's an ugly econobox based sport sedan.
