Picked up my new car last week. Lexus IS350, crystal white w/black leather, sport package, Mark Levinson DVD video/audio system, and navigation.

Rear 3/4
Front 3/4

Now to just get through this break-in period...

Flame away :D

the IS front end looks nice, but i'm not such a big fan of the rear. seems a bit like they hoodwinked it from the infiniti G35

Heh, once I get through this break-in :)

Speaking of which, I thought it was weird that the manual said the break-in period was exactly 621 miles, until I realized that it's 1000km...durrr....

Congrats

The ML is pretty awesome. On top of the increased number of speakers and the better surround field, it changes the in-dash 6-CD changer to a 6-DVD changer, and adds DVD-A and DVD-V support. Oddly enough, I haven't tried either of those yet...

I prefer the TL because of bigger backseat.

You've got a great car, enjoy it.

Thanks!

Involving...hard to say at this point, simply because I'm still trying to break it in (<75 mph, <3500 rpm). When I drove this car at the Taste of Lexus event, it was pretty awesome, although I still give the edge to the 3-series when it comes to pure driving involvement. Yes, the backseat sucks, but I don't have any kids (yet), and I generally don't have 4 passengers in the car.

The 250 has a 6-speed manual option, the 350 does not. It's a paddle-shifter equipped 6-speed slushbox. Yes, that sucks, but since I have to drive in Los Angeles rush hour every day, there's no way on earth I'm going to own a manual car as my primary driver, anyways.

Nice, I would love to have this car as I'm sure anyone else will too. However, if I'm spending that much on a car, I want something that is more involving to drive. Something that makes you feel totally connected to the car and gives you an idea of your enviroments. But maybe thats just me. If it came to this car and the BMW 3, I wouldn't know what to do. Luckily, there is the TL. Again, you have a great car.
