got a MP3 player (yeah joining the last decade!) err whats a good program to make MP3's?

as the title says. i just got a mp3 (well one that is not a phone also) player. soo whats a good program to make mp3's from my cd's?

Cdex used to easier b/c Exact Audio Copy was a pain to set up, but they recently put out a new version .99 which includes a setup wizard, so I vote for EAC. Do yourself a favor and first install the LAME Mp3 codec (3.97 or 3.98) from here:

After that install EAC (b/c the wizard will ask you to locate the the files from the codec)

EAC + lame, anthing that uses lame is good. i use --preset extreme for high bitrate variable bitrate. u can set to insane if you want 320kbps
