Got a movie ticket.

Contest

Reason: Always contest; I don't know if it warrants a ticket or not, but don't just sit and take it since there's no harm in contesting.

plead ignorance... say you saw the cops car there and had no idea it was against the law. if you did, you wouldn't have done it.

U turn is a U turn.

Where you proceed afterwards and/or your intent is irrelevant.

Ignorance isn't a defense.

OTOH, I don't believe parking your car is against the law.

Easy, you turned in front of him instead of waiting for him to pass. Did you signal?

yes i did...witness in car. i believe if i did not he would have cited me for it.

I've never done that before. I've always gone around the block so I was driving the right direction. The spaces are angled for a reason.

edit:..he stopped me before i completed turn to park...he flashed me, which prompted me to actually do a uturn for him.

Sorry to say but Leros is rite, they are angled for a reason. Non of us like tickets but if you break the law, well there is not muchy ou can do.

Either way, you lose. It is not legal to pull into angled parking from the opposite side of the street. Just as it is not legal to back out of angled parking into the other side of the street. Pay the ticket.

By the way I think your front drivers side tire is a bit over inflated.
