Got a motorola razr off my brother

When i plug it in my USB it says unable to charge? Do i need a software to charge?

And is it possible that it does not have sim card support? i cant find anywhere to put it :S

i had to install a usb driver to get it to charge. the sim card is under the back cover. the verizon one doesn't have a sim card i think, but i'm not sure.

if it's a verizon phone like maximus said, it won't have sim support.

yes. alltel is a cdma provider according to howardforums. you need a gsm phone for sim support.

No - even if you could unlock it, a CDMA phone won't work on a GSM network.

You have a V3c (cdma razr). If you don't want to switch providers, you could probably trade it or ebay it pretty easy.
