They should require a basic IQ test as well. I would say anyone dumb enough to provide an address to a man behind a random threatening phone call, AND post on a public forum his intent to kill said random caller before dragging the corpse into the house and claiming it as an accident should have no purpose anywhere near a firearm, or something as dangerous as a paperclip.
 
my friend had a similar situation years ago. some guy called him and accused him of prank calling amd messing around with his wife. he said he had the number on his caller ID and he verbally threatened to come down "and beat the bloody shit out of you, you bitch ass trick".

my friend, like the dumbshit that he is, says 'bring it on you ho. im finna twist yo cap, bitch. my address is <insert address>. im waiting fo yo ass"

few hours go by, nothing. then all of a sudden a loud knock on the front door around 9PM. friend opened the door and this big, black dude rushed in with wine and a cheesecake. my friend and this guy proceeded to sit down and talk the matter over politely over a candle light dinner. they appeared to have resolved the dispute without violence.

*57 is your friend. Use it. Then call the cops. It puts a temp CLI on your line and the police will call the phone company to get the full details of the person that called you, even if it's private number... though they need a warrant for that, which is not really a big deal, just a form they sign.

At my new job we do traces like this once in a while.

And yeah you could have at least give him a fake address or something. I hope you have an alarm system... just saying. They will most likely come when you are not home and trash your house or something.

Give them your address. Invite them over for tea & crumpets. Then murder them. And have intercourse with their corpse.
