EDIT
I want to ask one more thing
I thought that there's a 802.11a, but that laptop doesn't say that it supports it, is 802.11a obsolete, or is it automatically supported?

Well I think it's ok for a work pc. the only thing that's bothering me is RAM amount, and the on-board graphics. Anything I'm missing? Oh and is the 950 decent enough for just reguler work? I'm not going to use it for games. (when I last used an intel integrated, I had problems with browsing)

Yeah besides ram and graphic, that looks like a kick ass work system.. I like the higher resolution.. i had 1280x800 on my i6000, it just doesn't feel enough... but some people likes it..

i wish you could go for macbook and you can dual boot but the list looks decent.

512mb is still fast for laptops but if you want to get rid of resource hogs, you might want to throw in another 512mb.

Looks good here!

I've worked with several of the D610(I believe that was the model before that if they don't have it anymore). They were pretty quick notebooks. Snappy. And I see it has the Core Duo processor. Don't worry so much about the memory. If you can wait to add 512mb later, then do so. Ajdavis has a point though, RAM is pretty cheap now so any chance you get pick up another stick.

Onboard graphics really did used to suck. It is getting better now but it's no real problem unless you are gaming, which I don't think is the goal in mind. If you do have problems with browsing, etc. Always check to make sure drivers are up to date. That was my problem before...

Oh sry for the bump but I want to ask one more thing

802.11a is a 5ghz range wireless. It has the transfer rate of 54g but has really bad range. (or have i got it backwards? range of G, transfers 11b speed?)

anyways, it's relatively unpopular, cause it's friggen expensive, although some enterprises use it. If it doesn't say it supports it, then it doesn't =p. To be sure, look up the model of your wireless adapter, and google away heh.

You're correct talcite. 802.11a is 54mb, but significatly reduced range (30m compared to 11b's 300) It was developed the same time as 11b, but it's incompatible, expensive and mostly unused, and superceded by 802.11g.
