647,000+ people in the original SimCity for SNES. Using the Freeland terrain and the million dollar mayor tricks of course. I'm surprised the "battery" inside the game still worked after 12 years - the manual said it would last only 5.

Hours and hours of my childhood were spent in front of this game.
That and Need for Speed Porsche 2000 (Unleashed): I could do <55 second lap times on Monte Carlo 5.
