Okay about a couple months ago I did a benchmark, got almost 14,000 points(and that was with a defective card) and now I try and only get about 12,500! WTH is wrong?
14,000 points

You notice a difference when playing games? If not, don't worry about it.

If you must, to get the best "score," disable ALL "eye candy" features and settings. Also, use the Cats that produce the "best" score.

"W/ a defective card"

Does that mean that you got a new card?

If, yes, then it could be drivers, it could be anything. If a score is important enough to you, try a fresh install of windows. Is anything overclocked? Was anything overclocked (if a different card)? If you overclocked anything, I'd say you should be higher than 12,500. If at stock speeds, then it's close.

Goodluck
