Got a gefoce2...now what

I got an Else Geforce2 gts but I am not as pleased with the preformance as I though I would be and the graphics I see are not like that of what I see screen shots of. Can someone tell me what I need to do to get it working good. I have detonator 7.17 drivers insatlled, using windows 2000, are these the best drivers to use?

Also, In UT I did not notice a preformance diffrence over my v3 because I was using d3d on my geforce2. Now I installed the Loki opengl drivers and it is supposed to make it look a lot better, right? It seems to have slows it down some.

Currently, the 7.17 drivers are not the best performing set; they are optimised for DirectX 8, but are still at a very early stage. You should see far better performance with a 6.xx series driver for the moment.

Try the 6.31 (final) drivers from nVidia's website.

Ya already though about doing that. Probally will since im into cad and 3d development.

Try the drivers from elsa's site, I have the same card with Windows ME and was having some problems so I finally loaded the drivers from their site, they are the Detanator 6.34 I think, and everything has worked fine since then.
