Are the FX mobos' better than the GX? I thought the GX were top of the line. I'm running a 690G right now, trying to decide what mother board to get...

If u overclock and don't use on board display (I assume most overclock er's don't) then u are definitely better off with 790FX , also I have read on some forums people not being able to push fsb on their 790GX mobo because of onboard video corruption.Lately Foxcon and Asus have great 790FX+SB750 mobo's out with which overclock er have been able to push X4 9950 to an average overclock of about 3.2Ghz~3.4Ghz.If you are really good at overclocking phenom , with proper cooling set-up you can push phenom further.

Hey, if you're good at overclocking, can you tell me if 100MHz is really the default Southbridge speed for a 780G?

I have the impression something is "chocking" my computer and I don't know what.
