It was a little scared at first and wouldn't let me pet him, but just a few hours later he took a nap on my lap.
His name is megabyte, mega for short.
I got him at the north central animal center.
At first they said I need a $300 deposit, but my doctor recommended I get a emotional support animal so I don't have to pay.Good Man!
Now take care of that cat.
Also ensure cats are okay at your place.
EXCELLENT, you asked first and followed the process. At first they said I need a $300 deposit, but my doctor recommended I get an emotional support animal so I don't have to pay.
Oh yes, when they are kittens handle their feet al lot and I mean a lot. Also clip their nails a little bit several times a week. Makes life much easier as they age.New pet today, nail clipper tomorrow!
Have you ever had a cat? I've never had a cat go anywhere but in the litter box in ove 30 years of owning cats. Training? Show then where the box is when you first bring them home...Done!Congrats!
If this is your first pet / cat, you have a lot of reading to do. Give the lil buddy lots of hugs.
I already shiver at the inevitable property damages, poop/pee on the floor which will still happen despite how trained they are, behavior etc. Just brace yourself for the hard parts of owning a cat.
Definitely save up for the inevitable vet bills too.
Dry kibble is better for your cats teeth than wet ones. Also avoid big names such as Purina. Stick with boutique brands that list meat as first few ingredients instead of corn/soy.
Enjoy!

And Purina ONE is great cat food. 1st ingredient is meat.
Too many recalls from the expensive "boutique" brands. Turns out most of them source ingredients from China.
