Got a cheap PC need advice

I just picked up a GigaPro pc from the Fry's grand opening in Irving. It was only $99 and came with everything but monitor. I currently have 3 pc's and a printer going to my router. I would like to set this up as a server or firewall/FTP server. It came with ThizLinux installed but I know I will have to download and install a different version. Any advice or recommendations would be helpfull.

A different approach is taken by MikroTik (specializing in Wireless)

They offer all in one propriety package based on Linux.

While the professional is not free, they offer a functional demo that will work with max. of 4 computers.

If you have 4 or less computers it worth given it a try.
