Speaking of rain I forgot I took these the other day after a torrential downpour, well multiple in a row throughout the day. Nothing as bad as OP's pictures mind you.





Had water coming out of both weeping tile pipes going into the sump pit. Very rare I see that. One of these days I need to invest in a sump pump though, But it would be a big job to install as I'd have to dig a new sump pit too and tie in the other sump pit.

Well, I have torn out somewhere around 1000 square feet of carpet and padding in the last two days. I hate carpet so much right now. Got some fans and the dehumidifier running so hopefully things start to dry out. We had 10.5 inches of rain in a bit less than 3 days and it's still coming down.

Virginia has been getting lots of rain, but in short bursts. Its not doing our flowers much good.
