Got a 16gb video file that i downloaded off my DVR

and was wondering what program to use to get rid of the Commercials and To make the file size smaller with little to no loss in quality?


BTW i used VIVO to copy the file from my dvr (the show is only 30mins and is Digital.) and DScaler to record it thats why its around 16gigs.

Sony Vegas has a 30 day trial, which should be enough to edit and compress the show to a much more managable size.

So you re-recorded off your DVR? Isn't there an easier way to transfer from a DVR?

Yes but didnt have a firewall cable laying around.
