That's pretty slick. Whatever they've done at sony to get them to produce good/quality products, I hope they keep it up.

I've always been enamored with their XBR & ES series products.

I'm still using a 20" XBR TV that I bought in 1985!

Not to get off track, sony has always OWNED the broadcast arena. They used to own the display arena. They slipped, HARD, when HD came on (but still remained dominant in the HD broadcast/camera...hmm?) Anybody that has worked for a large corporation can understand why, you get so big that different directions/products don't follow the main ship.

I'm not trying to turn this into a bash sony thread, because IMHO they lost their standing in the display market.

BUT - something happened and I don't know what it is, but they're turning around. I look forward to more good stuff. Samsung woke them up. Or should I say shook them up?
