got 3200+ venice to 2.7 but would like to take it higher

Keep the lower timings, you will be glad you did 🙂 You have more than enough bandwidth for a single core anyway...

thanks for the reply. i bumped it up to 4x and even 5x and it runs stable as a rock. i did some more prime95 overnight and it's solid.

Just so you know, running a high HT makes no difference in performance.
