Like other have said, get the 8800gts. However, surprisingly the card seems to have gone up in price recently. I remember seeing a bunch for under $350 a few weeks ago, and now they're all almost $400.

8800GTS 640mb version. They are all the same board only difference is the warranty & software bundles. End of discussion.

It does if warranty and customer service matter to you.

Read the system requirements for the card you want. They do take a considerable amount of power and you'll want a quality power supply.

Except that Jedi Outcast was released in 2002-2003? Now a 7600GS can get 125 fps at max settings, old games are so wonderful.

EGVA has a better warranty (lifetime versus 3 years with Leadtek) - both are based on the reference Nvidia design with exactly the same tech specs otherwise.

Evga also honors their warranty. I burned out my 680i a couple weeks ago, sent it in and they promptly sent me a new one no questions asked. With this sort of a venture, when you know you will be pushing this card, i would go for the warranty over another vendor with a better software package.
