So I can burn them as mp3s to listen to while I am driving home. Who knows a good software, googling isn't helping me much. Something free please. My stupid Civic thinks the wma files are 'CD FORMAT' and skip them, though other wma files play fine.

Got Winamp? You can set the output to mp3 file.

If they are protected you are pretty much screwed unless you record them yourself with Audacity or pay money for a program to do it for you.
