Tags are nice...

But personally, I'd by a decent $400 dollar watch and something else with the 1G..

Your uncle wants you to? Or your uncle is buying it for you?

If you have a house/apartment - buy furniture. Infinitely better gift than a watch.

Please don't tell me ANYONE is stupid enough to be impressed by a watch. It astounds me that any male on earth could think a woman would have anything to do with him because of his watch.
If this was true, Rollex would be the biggest company on earth.

I'd tell him to keep his money then if he wasn't going to let me spend it how I wished. I don't even wear watches, and even if I did I wouldn't spend anywhere close to 1000$ on one, ever. Unless it cooked for me and gave me bj's. Its just a waste of money

Or check out Sinn, or Stowa, or Fortis, or any number of other manufacturers you probably won't see on every other wrist out there. Nothing against Tag, but if it were me, I'd go for something a little less common.
